If I have the flywheel off of a 223 and put in onto a 292 is there any problem using a 10" clutch instead of the 11"?  This truck is only going to be used to cruise around in and not for any hauling of pulling of anything.  Thanks for any info you all can give me.

I dont think the bolt pattern is the same, but I am trying to think if I ever tried a 223 on a Y, I think all the 223 motors I have still have the flywheels on them, so more than likely i have never tried the match.

Thinking about your question a little more in depth, it dawned on me that when doing my 58 F100 clutch, it had the big spline (1.375 dia X 10 spline) center and a small 10 " disc. This disc was not the easiest to find, most big spline disc were 11" or 12", the smaller 1 and 1/16" 10 spline were much more common in the 10" disc size. which spline size do you have?
