I like the idea of drilling and tapping the block as seen in another posting here. Is it necessary to create a baffle to keep from sucking oil thru the valve? Dave V

While a baffle couldn’t hurt, it does not seem to be required in that particular area. Other comments by those that have put the PCV valve at that particular spot are welcome.
