I know a guy that put a Cavalier R&P in a '54 convertible. He copied what he could see from this site.

This site might have some info as well.

Also Rono on this forum knows a lot about R&P in our cars.

Good luck.

Ron;

I don't think Rick Wurth is selling the R&P set-ups any more. I had nothing but trouble in getting mine installed on my 56 and almost gave up. While Rick designed the kit with 55-57 Fords in mind, his mock-up did not include Y-Blocks with the external oil pump which rests squarely on the Cavalier rack. I had to substantially shim the rack downward and had to put 1/4" shims on the motor mounts and the oil pump still touches the dust boot on the rack. Also, the kit wasn't designed for a mechanical clutch and we had to completely re-design the steering shaft bracket. It was a pretty complicated bracket that needed professional engineering design.

So, based upon my experience, I would look at other options. If your running an automatic you will have more options such as the Borgenson set-up.
