I found a local listing on Kijiji for a C-6 Transmission that the seller claims is for a Y-Block.He has other stuff listed for 390's and 352's which he is (mistakenly) referring to as Y-Blocks.Is the C-6 from a 352-390 a bolt up to a (true) Y-Block?The seller has flywheels and torque convertors.

No the USA C6 will not bolt up to a y block, I don't think it was ever offered for the y blocks produced in other countries.

Thats what I thought.I see there is an adapter kit availalable from the same company Kansas bought one from for his AOD transmission.

hello, they did make a small bellhouseing C-6 for the cleveland that will fit with the small block adaptor kit. the 4bbl engines used a smaller converter for better stall but they had a smaller flywheel hub.
