I found a contact in N/C that can make a much stronger front sway bar for pretty well any car out there. After a ton of research This guy is the real deal. For almost any Ford, you can buy a heavier sway bar without going to a custom made unit

Kind of depends on your fabricating skills, some need a bolt on kit with no issues. Which is ok

I'll add that excessively large dia sway bars will introduce understeer. Also can introduce mechanical problems such as broken bushing bolts control arm flex ect.

The ones on the market are both mechanical and cost effective. My 24mm bar works a treat

It is a local Selby bar. Selby was bought out by http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/selby-swaybars.html#car_products_menu.

It fits well and works great. I did have to clearance the steady rest.

Warren brings up a good point. Puting a much heavier bar on the front will reduce roll, but it may introduce a tendency for the front end to slide out, in heavy cornering. In some cases it would be better to install a light bar at the rear to keep the handllng more neutral. Also, as he notes, a heavy bar can put a lot of strain on other components.

When I bought the bar I asked about a larger diameter as the ones that I had before were all around 1" (26mm) the manufacturer pointed out that the bar was about 600% stiffer. So twice the diameter does not equal twice as stiff, it's considerbly stiffer. the company also pointed out that it was tuned for the car.

In practice I can punt around tight curves at about twice posted in comfort with control and in balance. This is a street car not a nascar.
