Today, May 9 there is a 56 Ranchwagon tailgate on craigslist sfbay. It isn`t mine and I have not seen it. I remember somebody wanted a repro so this might be what you need. Pete

Pete, Thanks for the heads up. I'm the one who was looking for a Ranchwagon tailgate. In the picture it looks to be a little better than mine. On mine somebody in the past welded up the hole for the license plate light and warped the sheet metal some, but has the dreaded body cancer along the lower edge that so many Ranchwagon tailgates have. maybe I cold combine to two? 
I would like to take a trip to look at it (I'm in So. Cal.) but unfortunately I seem to be one of a growing number of Y-Blockers that are 60+ and are having heart problems. Doc sez no Traveling or LIFTING for awhile.
