I found a hole rusted in the top of the old gas tank (it was from a 62 Galaxie convertible - 22 gallons) so needed to get a replacement. Thanks to Michael Loftis, a local gearhead friend, I found out about a place in MN that sells the tank, sending unit and straps complete with the rubber pieces to go on the straps. In all, I think I have something like $250 into the whole thing. If you are in the market for a tank, look for "Tom's Classic" on ebay motors.
