morning folks

just a quick question

when fitting a mechanical oil pressure gauge do you fill the capilary tube with oil or leave it air filled?

thanks

That's a really good point .. I never bothered, just let it rip. Ive never come across it in any fitting instructions..

Stu, Leave it full of air, Pressure is pressure! Also some air will dampen needle fluctuation, that's a good thing.

I guess everybody has a different opinion. I like to purge the air out.
