My 1955 Ford Crown Vic. needs new shocks in the front and rear. Looking for inputs from other Crown Vic owners. What shocks have worked good for you? Also where can I purchase the shocks that you like.

Thanks

Don't own a crown Vic but I would recommend KYB Gas-A-Just shocks front and rear. Real happy with the ride in my '55 RanchWagon and they took the 'wallow' out of the steering.

Raybaker1,

Go back to my post regarding brake parts about two pages ago, posted July 5th - some good replies on shocks too: I found-out through further research of my own that rear are #31125's (has proper long stroke needed for tire changing), front are 5157's.

Mine's also a '55 Crown (steel-top); #3 driving condition - with hopes of some restoration to a #2 driver (I love the #1's; but, I also want to drive a lot, which is not very conducive to keeping it a #1!

Are you going to the CVA meet next week in southeastern Iowa? Wish that I could make it - not this year, though. Dang!!! I need two rear stainless "spears".

Regards, JLB
