If anyone knows of a wrecking yard/yards with a collection of '55 and '56 Fairlanes, please give me a name, or phone number, or website address, etc., if you can. I'm restoring my '56 Fairland Club Sedan and there are several odds and ends that I need. Thank you, Ron.

Elmers Auto Salvage in Fountain City Wisc specilizes in old car parts, don't know how they are price wise phone 608-687-9211. Also Witts Auto salvage in Eddyville Ia..sometimes they'll sell and sometimes they could care less but might be worth a call. 641-969-4613, I bought a harmonic balancer from them a few years ago for $50. he said he had 30 or 40 of them...went to get it and they had to pull it...Another is Antique Auto Supply in Arlinton Tx, Stacy Brown. 817-275-2381 you tell him what you need...he'll check and call you back...has all NOS parts from '72 back. I know theres lots more but maybe these will help.

Good Luck

Carl, on this site, usually pops up with almost anything you need. He seems to have a lot of 55/56 parts cars. Chuck

Ive also had good luck with:

Bob Burgess

793 Alpha-Bellbrook Road
Bellbrook, OH 45305
bobs19551956@yahoo.com

(937) 426-8041

Also, Id recommend you order a catalog from Tee-Bird products in PA. They have the most comprehensive catalog of parts, with helpful parts diagrams, and almost always have everything in stock. Great people, very helpful, with very fast shipping. The catalog itself is really helpful for the diagrams, etc.

Hope this helps.

I would add Joe's auto sales near Hastings, MN. He only deals in Ford stuff, has 1100 cars and 100 semi trailers filled with parts. 651-437-6787. I don't think any discussion would be complete without mentioning Norbert Doll (405) 372-6606.

you may also try Big M Auto Wrecking in Williams, CA.
John usually has mid - late 50's Mercs, but he has Y- parts.

It was Witts but maybe they've sold or changed the name and I guess they could have gotten rid of the old cars...Its been a while since I've been there. There also used to be one in between Wayland missoui and Kahoka Missoui but they have sold off all their cars...high scrap price I suppose. Sorry If I come up with any others I'll post them.

Go to the H.A.M.B, under vendors is a guy by the name of Bob's salvage, my computer crashed and I lost all my contacts or I would give you his email.
I have dealt with him a few times, he's fair priced and very reliable.

Try RPM Motorsports in Minnesota, I just found a yoke for my T-85 Overdrive (1957) there and they fast ship, the only snag is that I had to buy the Mercury drive shaft that it was on to get it. 1-888-223-1864
