I need a door lock for the passenger door on my '56 Fairlane and the large clip that holds it in place. I don't need a key and I don't care if the lock is in poor cosmetic condition or even missing the "door" that covers the key slot. The only part I'm going to use is the piece that fits inside the door and lifts the locking mechanism up and down when you turn the key. I know this is not a big order by any stretch, but it's an important part of the puzzle in my restoration project. Thank you! Ron W.

You are referring to the "link" at back of lock, if no one has one they are avail from carpenters, tee bird etc.

Aussie Bill--Thanks. Had no idea something that small and seldom needed would be available in the after-market. Ron
