I finally got my latest Lincoln Y Block build on the dyno yesterday

It is a 383 inch motor 4.06 x 3.7 . 12:1 compression, max ported stock heads, roller cam, Hilborn injected on 110 race gas.

We had some issues tuning the injectors, so I think there are another 10 -15 horse to be had. I am pretty happy with the results.. Hopefully it will be installed in the Warbird in time for Columbus.

RB;

Congrats! Those are GREAT numbers for torque and HP. You broke the elusive 500 HP ceiling! I'm very impressed Exclamation Mark

Royce, you are a true motor head. I doubt few if any have come close to what you have accomplished with your Lincolns. Thanks for sharing, it is so cool what you do.

Joe, I know there would be at least another 20 horse available if you had ported the heads!

that would be a good motor in the Thumper. would you like to stop by and take some Lincoln engines back when you come to Columbus? I don't think i'll ever get around to building anything.

Royce. Great HP numbers and the torque numbers are also stout. That’s quite an accomplishment for an LYB engine. Hope you can get this one installed in time for Columbus as it looks to be a real performer.

Royce, I still am going to help old friends with a few things all along, just to keep the "little gray cells" healthy. LOL. I am officially retired, but...I like a challenge every once in a while. Joe-JDC.
