I got my Y in pieces and without a usable t stat housing. I got a used housing and am getting ready to install. Do I install the T stat with the pointy end toward the radiator? Thanks

Welcome to the site, vntgtrk.
No questions that answers are needed for are stupid. Figuring things out by trial and error is time consuming, frustrating and can cause equipment damage.
