Finally installed my new motor in my 56 Victoria 3 weeks ago .Motor was built by Jeff Cooper from Toowoomba , Queensland. Block is a 1960 B5AE-6015 .Bore is 3.792 . Stroke is 3.339 .302 cu in or 4946cc. Endurotec pistons 292+ .040 . Pistons have .003 skirt clearance. Deck height is -002.Cam is a Jeff Cooper special grind.282 degree duration ,total lift is .434.Lash is set @.010 IN & .012 EX. Rebuilt ECG rockers with HD tubular pushrods .Mercury forged steel lifters .Crank is ECK .Main journals ground .010. Rod journals ground .040.Rods are stock rebushed EBU ,polished,lightened to 645 grams & balanced.Heads are 1955 ECG-D with a .065 face cut and a .030 inlet face cut.Valves are stainless 1.94 in & 1.55 ex.Exhaust seats have hardened inserts.Spring are 351 Clev.The motor is fully balanced and will rev to 6500 .1963 ECZ truck inlet manifold with a 600 Holley . Dizzy is stock at present . A Pertronix upgrade will be fitted next week .Exhaust manifolds are stock with 2.5 inch dual system .A rebuilt FMX with a stock 3.22 rear end .I have only managed to put around 700 mile on it so far .The motor feels very strong and I can't wait to get it on a dyno .Regards Lon 56

Lon, Maybe I should fly down there and break it in for you? That way we will know that it is driven properly and nothing gets broken! If that is not an option, I recomend that you let Lynne handle all the driving duties after all we wouldn't want you to scare yourself with all that new found power. You know at your age, you can't take any chances with that ticker!  Your buddy Rob
