Ran my best times in the Warbird last night at Great Lakes Dragaway Union Grove Wi. 1/4 10.06 131 mph 1/8 6.41 107 mph 60' 1.41 This was run with 383 cu in Lincoln Y Block, 750 Holley, E-85 fuel

Update from shootout. In the 9s!! 1.41 60ft
9.92 133 mph 109 mph
Work on the 60 ft and do some tuning I think I can get a 9.75 out of it

Barry, Yes it has the 383 inch Lincoln Y Block engine in the WarBird.. JC made it but did not bring his car.
Here are the specs on my car:
I Body is a fiberglass 55 thunderbird
Engine is a 1957 Lincoln 368 Y block bored and stroked to 383. 12.5 compression, roller cam, home made intake. 750 Holley converted to E-85. It made slightly more than 500 hp at the crank. Racing C-4 with a 4000 stall converter. Frankland Quick Change rear with 4.44 gears. 10.5 W x 31 Mickey Thompson tires I doubt I can run in the 9.50s in present configuration. I am about maxed out on engine performance

Our T -Bird has run a best 1/4 mile of 11.21 & 120.8 mph; 1/8 mi is 7.10 @ 96.9 mph 342 inch all motor iron heads.
