I will be using John's Y-280-I-11 cams. I have all the parts from John to start the engine build. So the engine will be heading off the machine shop next week. I won't be able to finish the engine until I receive the remainder of my order (aluminum heads, timing cover, flywheel, and clutch). If I can figure out how to post pictures on this forum...I will post progress during the build of my .060 over 292 EFI engine.

That's one of the Cams that Mummert came up with about a year or two back. It was featured in a build, if I recall, for use with a C-4 transmission on the street. The test is published & it tested out (if I recall, without looking it up) in a moderate stroker setup at a very impressive, 393 HP & 420 Lb Ft.! .. The only minor glitch with it (for someone dreaming like me) is that it isn't recomended for use with a Fordomatic, due to the Fordo's converter..
