I was wondering if anyone knows a source for new rear sump oil pans for our y blocks? I'm getting ready for a y block project where it will be way easier and I know there are T'bird and truck pans but I would really like a new one, nice and straight that will sea well. MIKE

Mike, still lovin his 57 t'bird after 53 years!

Aside from finding NOS, there is no new pan.  There usually are not problems with originals.  If you want something a little better suited to performance or racing, you can modify it yourself or send it to a place like Canton Racing Products for modification.
