This is just a mock up FE,with parts that I had laying around. In reality the 57 will run the Y block from the Falcon to start with, but a mid sized (434 ci) FE is in the works. The good thing is that the two engines share common mounts and swapping the engines is not a problem. Best of both worlds, Eaton 337 ci Y Block for the shootout or bad FE when I want to run with the big boys. I have some updated pictures of the chassis that I will try to post.

It looks like you have been working hard and making progress on the 57. It's kind of cool that you can swap Y-Block to FE and back with out a lot of work.

I don't know Charlie, may sell it are part it out or may just cover it up and let the kids deal with it. It will be awhile before the 57 is finished

Old school is the only way to go! I'm heading up to Anderson SC tomorrow to visit with the Bone Shaker crew, maybe pickup a few more ideas and just maybe a few parts. Hope to visit several shops while we are up there, so don't know what we may come home with.
