I have been trying to purchase one also.. I was told the person who makes them is Charles Dover . I called and left messages many times over the last 6 months. He answered once and said he was out but was going to make some more. I waited the time he told me called and left messages. No response. . His # is Dover Crane 828-273-1211 .. I thought the small block Ford adapters would work. Although I could be wrong (again).
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

small block ford does not have a adaptor. the filter boss is part of the block,with a thread so a threaded adaptor screws into the block,theadapter looks much like the 1 used to hold the y block spin on plate,it may even be the same part,not sur tho. posibly what you are referig to

Howdy, Not sure about the small block models but mine came from an OMC (Ford) 460! Below is how I relocated the filter away from the exhaust "down-pipe" on my 292 using aluminum tubing and AN fittings. Cheers, Rick

looks verry pritey,but are you not concerned with high oil temp.the earleyer post was to do away with the troubling tin adaptor wher your adaptor on adapter mounts. ther are remote adaptors with flex lines and you could mount the filter on the iner fender or elsware that would be well away frome the exhaust.

I'm not really all that concerned with proximity (about an inch away) to the exhaust manifold. I'll either put fire sleeve over the tubing or just make a simple aluminum sheet metal shield and hose clamp it to the tubing. I've never really had a problem with the "tin" adapter either. I just wanted to get the filter away from the exhaust down-pipe
