Can the power steering pumps be rebuilt by local hydraulic companies?,  is one question and how hard is the water pump to change out?
I've been coming to this site for about 7 years now so I thank you for your help in advance.

The water pump is relatively easy to change. If you've never done one before, be sure you note how everything goes together before pulling it apart.  It probably can be done w/o pulling the radiator but I would recommend pulling it.  Use some kind of sealer (sparingly) on the gaskets.  I like the copper silicone.

As far as the power steering pump is concerned, look in Hemmings (or maybe some one here knows somebody) for a rebuilder.

There are kits for the pump available through a number of the parts houses. The cylinder is a different matter. If the shaft is worn and leaking you'll have to find someone to do the work. Somebody here may come up with a name or shop that can do it. Chuck

Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
