Hello can anyone tell me if anyone makes a high torque 6 volt starter for my 1955 and is there a high volume oil pump for the 272 engine thanks

There are no high volume oil pumps available for the Y that I’m aware of.  The stock oil pump was actually over-engineered for the Y engines so a Hi Vol pump should not be needed except in the worst of cases.  Here’s the link to an article published in the Y-Block Magazine though that goes through the steps to make a high volume oil pump for the Y engines.
