Are the exhaust manifolds on a 57 T Bird the same as the ones on a 57 full bodied car.I seem to remember the drivers side is but the passenger side exhaust flange is rotated different,any help greatly appreciated  Carl

It's just the opposite.  The drivers side is different, passenger side the same.

Carl - The driver side manifold for the T-bird is an "ECJ" part number. Its located on the manifold face toward the cylinder head - unlike all of the others. It has the same passage sizes as the '57 passenger car parts (flat top casting shape too) - but the outlet kicks in a bit more toward the block to clear the clutch linkage of the stick cars. It was used on both the stick and automatic T-birds.http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/e93ffc23-8cb7-49e2-861c-0e2b.jpg  Finding them is usually accidental ....... when you really need one, hard to come by or very expensive.

Thanks Steve,There is a guy in my area hunting for drivers side exhaust manifold and I have one for a car,i thought the passenger side was different so that is why I posted the question.Glad I didn't sell him what I had.  Carl
