Fellow piston heads, gear jammers and Y blockers, the EPA wants to OUTLAW the conversion of any type of emissions-certified vehicle into a racecar, and make it ILLEGAL to SELL ANY emissions-related parts for those cars! Also done. Several years ago the EPA tried a more broad regulation attack on the hot rod community...which failed due to lobbying by SEMA and other organizations. This time the EPA was more subtle by slipping the regulations in the bill for medium and heavy duty trucks. SEMA almost missed it entirely.
