I have a 55 Victoria. I have electronic ignition that I put in. I'm presently putting in a new set of plugs. Are Autolite 46's good. If so is the gap the same .034. Thank You.

The Autolites are fine. Plug gap depends more on potential coil output. If you're using a stock or equivalent coil then stay with the Ford spec.

It's a hotter coil.

Then you can open the plug gap a bit. Try .040" and see how she runs. The coil manufacturer may have a recommended gap on their website.

I think that Ted has dyno data that indicates a wider gap doesn't help much on our engines - in fact he found a reduction, and I'm pretty sure his test rig has plenty of juice.
