Anyone know which other engines also use 5/8 diameter thin wall (~20 gauge) tubing?  I'm looking for something to cut up for the bends and trying to avoid cutting up any of the good Y pickups I have since they are not yet reproduced and therefore are of a limited supply.  No problem cutting up a mass produced part.

You might try Googling metal tubing to see who sells it.

I've done that.  Tubing is no problem.  Bends are.  Haven't found one place that provides bends that small.

Try copper tubing fittings at your hardware store. You can braze or silver solder them. May be able to find something that will work,

Copper is not a good option.  5/8" is not so common for copper tubing.  It also limits me to very specific bend angle, unless I also purchase a bender and swaging tool; if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'll just find a shop to bend the appropriate steel tubing into the shape I desire.

I am open to other suggestions, like coolant manifolds or pipes that have a nice selection of bends, but it must be steel and must be 5/8".

I think the problem is solved.  Summit Racing lists tubing diameters for some of the pickups in their catalog.  Quite a few 5/8" OD pickups.
