does anyone know where I can get the engine mounts and brackets for a 1960 f100 shortwide, it currently has the original 6 in it and I'm putting in my 292, I have the body removed and suspension is going in now, the 6 mounts in the front of the block, i haven't been able to find anything

The truck y block mount is in the front also. There used to be a guy on Slick 60's that had a ton of parts. You may try there. The site is for 61-66 Ford trucks but I would think the bracket would be the same. Other than that I would recommend picking up a Hemmings Motor News and look through the classifieds for junkyards.

Dennis Carpenter has the engine mounts,for the brackets i wuold search e-bay!
