In lieu of dimpling the plenum which is thin, could something be added/attached to the BT plenum to achieve desired result? I'm always hesitant to mechanically attach anything within a plenum as it can come loose. I think any dimpling or channeling that’s limited to a maximum of 0.060”-0.080” would be sufficient. I used a ¼” ball mill and to obtain the full radius from the end mill, the depth would only need to be a maximum of 0.125” or half the diameter of the end mill. I went to the extreme on that test as I was looking for a make or break result. Smaller channels or dimples should prove to be just as adequate in making the desired turbulence.
