Bringing this back to life. Anyone have a source for a mid block flexible dipstick? With our turbo header we had to bend the stock stick out of the way to get home. Trying to find a permanent solution now. I've used Lokar before on other engines with good results, but I don't see an offering for a Y block. Any of the other Ford engines share a similar tube?

I have used the Canton universal dipsticks on the Y.  Canton makes both a solid tube design and a flexible tube design.  It does require tapping the dipstick hole in the block with a ¼” NPT tap and then using a short ¼” NPT nipple and coupling fitting to make it all work.  Here’s a link and a picture for the flexible line version.
