I just purchased a set of 113 casting heads. They are complete with rockers etc. I measured the heads and they have been milled .045. I want to use them with an "E" code manifold that has not been milled. I really don't want to mill this manifold.

Will it be possible to use it with this much off the heads?

I know if I use a composition head gasket it will add back maybe .030.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You'll probably be able to bolt it on. Port match may not be ideal but it will not be a show stopper. You can dry assemble, using some washers or shim stock which are the same thickness as the compressed head gasket, to space out the head appropriately. Just finger tighten things and see where the manifold is, with the intake gaskets in place.

The comp gasket will add back closer to .020.  So if there really is .045 off, .025 is left.  Hoosier Hurricane suggested I mill the intake side of my 113s rather than the manifold.  You would have the flange taken down .035 theoretically, 1.4 times the net loss from heads and deck.  If there is a less than exact history on the heads I would cc them to give further evidence of the degree of milling.  .045 removed should put the chamber size in the neighborhood of 65 cc I would think. Then go on the conservative side regarding flange milling and have .030 removed.

Or you can do as Charlie suggests, and if they bolt up and hold seals, go for it.
