I purchased a Felpro gasket kit for my '55 292. In the final steps of buttoning up my top end rebuild. In the kit are 3 sets of intake manifold gaskets. Two sets are made of a heavy cardboard type material and 1 set is more like a head gasket material with a metal insert around the center port. One of the 2 cardboard sets aligns perfectly with all ports. The other 2 sets are offset a bit.

Can I assume that Felpro supplies 3 different sets depending on port orientation?

My wife said she would divorce me if I bought another car. It scared me so bad I only bought 3 last month!

Yep. You'll probably have a good bit of gaskets left over which you will not need.

The gaskets with the smallest holes are for 239 cid engine, next ones are for 272 and the last ones are for racing
