That filter is correct for a 56 vehicle.
The 56 dual quad setup and Ford trucks used that particular number filter.
57 setups were ECT 9155 A B
There is a difference between the truck filter and the car filter.
I think that unit may be for the truck although since it has the inlet/outlet fittings it would be fine for a car.
