I've used a chain bolted into opposite sides, and ends of the exhaust ports. If you have the transmission attached you sill need to adjust the chain location a little to the rear. The exhaust bolt holes give you enough to get it at the angle you need to come out. Set up the chains and try lifting the engine a little. You will be able to see if you need to move the chain locations. I use the regular exhaust bolts for this. Run them in most of the way and use a regular chain not something you would use for a dog run! Hope this helps. Chuck in NH
