Those heads are replacement heads for C1TE heads. Largish chambers and small valves. If you are building a truck motor with a stock cam, these would be good heads if you made sure to zero-deck your pistons.

I bought a pair on eBay some time ago to put on a 56 272. I just want it to run like original. It was a lot cheaper than reworking old heads. 239 or early 60 truck intake valves will work. At 1.65 they are certainly not for Hot rods, but they perform as good or better than original heads. If you are looking for high rpm horse power, they are not for you.

A write up some years ago said these S. American heads are well cast, however obviously not high performance. Anyone thinking of buying them might want to check with John Mummert in CA. He may have 1.84" intakes that can be made to fit.
