For an Edelbrock 2-4's manifold (255), do you need to get the valley pan with better clearance (or buy an aftermarket valley pan) or can you use the stock pan?

Clearance is an issue. Some of the intakes just clear the valley cover. If yours does not you can make a new cover out of sheet aluminum that will do the trick. Even some of the after market finned covers are too high to clear properly.
