TED, i have been trying to post new topic with message and pics but adminstration error comes up in red saying t0 post message in box, i have tried to reply to topics with my new post but still problem persists, could you check on it for me, thanks, maybe its me but just doing it same as usual, thank you. best regards, aussie bill.

Bill.  My first thoughts are that you are getting timed out.  The fact that you were able to post this thread at least shows that you’re not being blocked out.  A slow networking server or having a dial up connection to the net could potentially be causing the problem.  You may be being ‘timed out’ while you are typing in the message depending upon how long you are sitting in the edit mode.  I went to your profile and checked out what’s there and found nothing that is different from the other members.  If your posting problems have been reoccurring over the last several days then you may try shorter messages and see if this helps.  If this is a one day thing then read on.

 

There have been issues with the site that hosts this forum recently in that there have been some lockups or delays in site performance and you may have been just caught up in this.  These occurrences are random and seem to last for about 20-30 minutes at a time when they do occur.  Jim is aware of this particular issue is trying to get it resolved but he has to be logged into the site when it happens in order to try to get it fixed.
