Does anyone know if a Gear Vendors unit for an FMX will work on a Cruisomatic?

Paul, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. But if I were going to that much work, I would go all the way with the FMX conversion. I didn't know that gear vendors made a OD for the FMX, I'll have too check into it. Do you have one?

No,I don't have one,but I saw one advertised for sale in an ad-finder paper,so I guess they are available. The reason I don't go the FMX route is because I have a rebuilt COM laying here, and for my purposes a COM works OK.I think I'll contact Gear Vendors and check into it.I accidently threw away the ad paper that I saw the used one in.

Let me know what you find out, this maybe a good way to get a little more driveabilty and better milage also without going the AOD route.

I looked at the gear vendors site. They're $2600 new!! think I'd look at an AOD first.

WHOA! You can buy alot of gas for $2600 and I had rather drive the back roads at 55 mph than run the interstate at 75 mph anyway.
