I looked at the www.beaversprings.com website and they have a picture of the track posted with snow on the ground. Winter's a coming.

The Muncie (IN) track canceled their race last evening because of the cold. They're scheduled for two more weekends of racing, but I'd be surprised if they run anymore this fall (winter?).

No snow, but 37 degrees in LA (lower AL) this morning with a 15 mph north wind, and I just got a haircut Friday. Should warm backup by midweek, but it want be long before it's here to stay. I juess it beats the clouds and rair that we have had for the last couple of weeks.

It has been decided by a group of non-scientists that global warming will be restricted to areas around Al Gore's home in Tennessee, and Southern California. Washington supplies enough Hot Air to keep there temperatures very high. the rest of the country will continue to operate on whatever weather Mother Nature supplies. Steve, I guess Tucson's temps come from california! By the way, I was out there a month ago, Traveled home via Amtrack.

Global warming doesn't mean the weather will be summer-like in winter. An average increase in the temperature of 5 - 10 degrees, which is quite extreme, is global warming. I try not to believe what I see on the tv but my own observations of the weird weather patterns over the past few years indicate that something is going on, be it warming, cooling, or government conspiracy.

Not everywhere and not significantly, but they are down.
