I know someone on here has to know.. saw this on the bay and it says it's a factory manifold but i've never seen anything like it..

It s a standard dual quad manifold used on the 1957 "E" code engines.

That pictured unit is slated for a passenger car-not a T Bird.You can tell the application by the water pipe.It is the same manifold for the T Bird.

cool.. i had seen alot of 2X4 manifolds but none of them looked like that so i wasn't sure.. too bad my broke ass can't scoop that one up Sad

Before buying one of these (ECG9424-D) get a good look at the bottom. Many are cracked where the heat passage runs across the bottom.

thanks John.. wasn't really gonna buy it but one can dream can't he?BigGrin I'd just never seen a 57 manifold with the carbs off so this kinda threw me off.. also didn't know FoMoCo made them in aluminum.. still learnin my Y facts..
