Hey guys I have person asking me about his factory dual point dizzy, I'm not familiar with them so I put the question to you, sorry to pass the buck but it seemed the easy way to do it.

"I have a '57 Fairlane 500 and I would like to install the factory dual points in the distributor. I have the NOS original dual point breaker plate. I believe dual points were only installed at the factory with the supercharger. However, I have not been able to locate the points and condenser that fit it. Per the 1949-59 Ford parts book, the two sets of points each have different part numbers, and those numbers are different than the part # for the single points. But the points from the std single point distributor will fit on the dual breaker plate in one position though. Which set of points will fit the other location?
I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in locating a supplier for these obsolete parts. I've tried several antique or obsolete Ford parts catalogs, but no luck. I know these were limited use parts even when new and are super rare today. But where do F-bird owners get those parts to keep their T-birds original?"
God Bless.
