He was definitely a man that I wanted to meet before his passing. We in Y block world owe him quite a bit for his passion, innovation, and good-old-fashioned-honest hard work...

Obviously, Bob was a real Hotrodder. Get out in the shop and make it happen! Sadly, there a fewer everyday. Some guys just have the imagination, knack and the drive to gitter dun.

Guys like Bob, Karol Miller, Bruce Crower and a few others are blessed with a better understanding of the internal workings of an engine. We are blessed with their inspiration.

The sad thing is lately we seem to be loosing too many Y-Block legends and great supporters! But I guess it is what is going to happen when you are a fan of an engine that is over 50 years old! I have brought this up before, but perhaps we can ask Jim to put a link or a page on this site, as a tribute to all lost, influential Y-Blockers. I think it would be a fitting way to keep their memories alive and educate new Y-Blockers to some of their history! Just a thought.

I love the smell of burning rubber in the morning!
