My 1955 Mercury Monterey has Style # BV73C and Body Specific 88-554-15M-205. Does anyone know the breakdown of these? Any info would be much appreciated! Kevin

BV73C = Monterey Four Door Sedan

88 = body color = upper, alaska white; lower, biltmore blue

554 = trim = white vinyl and blue designer weave nylon

15M = date = december 15

205 = 205th car assembled

Thanks Tero!!! That is awesome! I always wondered what some of those numbers meant! And Jester, thanks for the compliment! I am waiting on light bulbs to finish up the 12 volt conversion, then I'm gonna prime the oil in the motor and see if she fires! I would post some pictures in here but I can't figure it out.
