I have a rebuilt 292Y late block C2AE originally a dearborn marine conversion, new pistons, bearings, cam bearings. Ran great as a marine engine, for about 15 hours.have converted it to truck engine for my 54 F250.Turning the oil pump with an electric drill I get more than enough oil to the right side rocker arms but none to the left side. It has not been run in about 3 years but was turned over an spins fine with the starter,I am pretty sure I had oil to the rockers last time it ran.I pulled the left rocker an no oil is comming out of the head, ano oil poured ioto hole in head does not drain down.looking for any suggestions or ideas to try,I am not opposed to using a top oiler kit as an alternative to a tear down,I used them in the 60s and they worked well, but may have a hard time finding one. Any help appreciated. F250RED

If the camshaft is crossdrilled at the center journal instead of being grooved, the engine will have to be turned over so that the oil holes in the cam bearing align with those in the camshaft.  When you find the spot where the left bank oils, you’ll likely quit getting oil to the right side.

If oil is not draining from the head the hole is blocked.Try a coat hanger wire to open it up.The oiler kits show up on Ebay frequently but you are better off getting yours working properly.

Ted you were right about the cam oil hole allinment, I did bump it once or twice as I thought of that but it must have stopped in the wrong spot.my memory and patience do not last long.I finnally hit the right spot and have oil to both rockers.I assembled this engine about 7 years ago and could not  remember the cam details. I got my first Y block about 50 years ago ,had 3 57 fords and use to know a lot about them, but my mind is as old as a flathead.I have a good memory but it does not last to long. thanks    RED

Red, I can sympathize with the memory. I have now gotten to the point where I have to write myself a note to remember why I went into the bathroom... doesn't get any betterWhistling
