I have been thinking about making up an intake for my 292. I was thinking about making a hot 4V, but then I thought about other configurations.
These are the carbs I have:
4 holley 2Vs from Mopar 360s (identical, about 200 cfm each)
7 solexs for Volvo B230 (about 170 CFM each)
1 Holley 4V from Y
These are what I thought about making with what I have:
1 X 6
4 X 2
this could be groovy:
2 X 2 with 3 X 1 between them as secondaries.
Is it just a horrible idea to make a freak intake, or could this be a really unique part that functions well?

What I would really like to see is 8 X 1 intake! . Just need eight single barrel Holleys or Solex carbs to make it happen.... Ok, too much whiskey and juice tonight....

I've often thought about adding one barrels in front and behind the 4V on my Y to add a little power when I really hit the gas.

If you’ll make the intake with a removable top, you can make several tops with each fitting different carburetor combinations. Here’s a couple of pics of an example to get you started.
