A lot of questions that appear over and over again here are answered in the shop manuals. While they may be available elsewhere and on line, at least one of the T Bird vendors is now selling them in CD-ROM pdf format for $22.00.  I am not specifically recommending this  vendor but they seem to be pretty reliable in the T bird world.

Theres a company called "Detroit Iron" who also sells them on CD.Includes parts catalogue, shop manual, owners manual,Fordomatic transmision manual(which does NOT come in the paper shop manual ,separate manual). as well as some other interesting stuff on the CD.Real useful whatever one you buy.
