Will be installing exhaust system on '55 Ford truck with 292 with ramhorn manifolds. Would putting a balance pipe between the dual exhaust enhance low end performance noticably? Is it worth doing this?

Probably nothing you'll notice but a cross pipe is cheap and easy to fit on a truck. It'll make it a hair quieter.

The balance pipe does seem to make more power, I could actually feel the difference and the sound was alittle quiter as charlie said and seem to be a little lower in tone as well. I like it better with the balance pipe but some may not.

A crossover or balance pipe enhances low end torque.  The closer it’s placed to the engine, the better.
