Can anyone help me id the heads on my 292 Y-Block out of my 63 F100? No reason to believe they are anything special but I'm just curious. Looked at Mummert's site and the Y-Block Guys site and I'm sill confused. Here's the block code: Supposedly a 292 cast in the Dearborn foundry in 1957. Not sure what the 22 denotes (if anything)? Here's the head code (sorry for the crappy pic) or what I've been able to locate. Also here's the id on an extra set of head I have. Think they came out of a 64 F100: Thanks in advance for any information or assistance.

The numbers on the head will be either just below the intake flange or between a pair of exhaust ports

Thanks Charlie. It took some looking, scraping and searching before I found it. It was facing down toward the valley cover. They like to hide those suckers don't they. They are C1AE. Nothing special, but not too bad I guess.
Used your hints and the charts to try to identify the heads/blocks of the three other "build-able" Y-Blocks I've collected over the past couple of years. Again, nothing special. Think all had been "professionally" rebuilt at some point so there seems to be an assortment of heads and blocks. Those folks must just pick up whatever they have sitting there when they are re-assembling the refurbished engines. Still have some questions, so I'll take another look in better light and give it a go again tomorrow. Thanks again.
Edit: Typo. Actually the heads are COAE not C1AE
