Of those of you who have installed the tri-power set up on your Y-block, where have you relocated the coil in your engine compartment? I am going from a two barrel cast iron intake to an Edelbrock 553 intake and it does not have the two bosses for attaching the coil to the manifold as did the old cast iron one did. Any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I was running a 573 intake which had the same problem. What I did was install longer studs for the intake hold downs (passenger side) and made a bracket that went on the studs that held the stock coil bracket. I bolted down the intake first, added spacers for the height I wanted and then bolted the bracket I made to the studs. Worked nicely.
