Some of you may have seen my Want Ad in the classifieds about looking for a vacuum or boost referenced fuel filter of some sort for my blown 292. This is a "revisit" to a question I had this time last year I believe.
I noticed something called a "mileage minder" on ebay. I guess these were standard on AMC cars back in the day, but the idea is that it regulates the fuel an engine needs according to a vacuum signal. Would this be the kind of in-line fuel regulator I could use on my VS57 292? I would assume that I could hook the engine vacuum to this regulator so that my 9 psi Holley mechanical fuel pump won't overpower and fill up the teapot fuel bowl...
Right now, with no load, everything is fine with the teapot and stock fuel pump, but I know when this engine eventually has a load on it, the fuel demands will be much more than the stock fuel pump can handle under boost.
whach yall thinkin'
