From looking at the EMC website it looks like 3 small block scrubs ran today. 2 puked on the dyno and the 3rd was a substitute for one that puked on the contestants dyno so they brought a 2bbl 355cu in from their bomber stock roundy round car. Barry Robotnic is in the lead so far with an FE FORD, 2nd BB scrub, 3rd Boss 429 FORD. Scores are much lower than last year. Ted's numbers are looking good if all goes well when his turn comes up.

If the rest of the week is like this, we have an excellent chance. I wonder what is with all of the detonation problems. It seems like most of the engines that ran yesterday experienced detonation to some degree. Based on last years score, the improvements this year, and the lower rpm range, I guess that Ted's Y should score at least 2150, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does better. If they simply finish, the Ys are guaranteed 36th and 37th postions! Which day will Jerry's run?

Here is a link for the ones who want to follow the trail. Just click on the Monday results and each day afterwards to see what has happened. http://www.popularhotrodding.com/index.html Teds schedule is 2:30 EDT this afternoon Team #23 by the list schedule page. Best to you Ted's and Gerry's teams. Let everyone know what a y-block sounds like when it "gets on the pipe". marv

2205! It looks like that puts it at 5th overall, so far. Excellent. That guarantees 25th out of 40. The way these other engines are scoring, I'll guess it'll finish in the top 15! Great work, Ted and crew! http://www.popularhotrodding.com/enginemasters/challenge/2010/1010em_2010_amsoil_engine_masters_challenge_tuesday_updates/index.html
