I've had the clutch rod fall out of the throwout arm without the spring. Probably due to adjustment problems but still, it did fall down. Chuck

55vickey (10/3/2011) How important is it to have the anti rattle spring on the clutch fork? GaryGary, if you are referring to the small wire retaining clip then its not important but the external return spring i think chuck refers to is necessary.
